Our Mission
Our mission is to help accelerate innovative research and bring new treatment possibilities to children facing sarcoma. There is currently a clinical trial being conducted in Tübingen, Germany where they are creating personalized peptide vaccines to treat pediatric sarcomas. Although we do not know if this groundbreaking research can be brought to the United States, my goal is to raise funds to possibly bring this or other promising trials here, stateside. By supporting this effort, you are helping advance critical work that seeks to improve outcomes and offer hope to young patients and their families during incredible difficult moments
WHAT ARE PERSONALIZED PEPTIDE VACCINES (PPVs)?
Personalized peptide vaccines (PPVs) are a customized cancer immunotherapy that uses a patient’s unique tumor mutations, or pre-existing immune responses to create a customized vaccine.
